Leyland Albion

Who or what is Leyland Albion? Leyland Albion; a lexicon originating from a portmanteau of corporate identity and geographic locality.

The term Albion is derived from a decision in 1899 by founds Thomas Blackwood Murray and Norman Osbourne Fulton to brand their company Albion Motor Car Company Ltd.

Until now, literature on the naming addition of Leyland is discordant. Leyland Motors (which was geographically Located in Leyland Lancashire) acquisition of Albion Motors in 1951, was the pre-eminent antecedent for what can be likened to dyadic transformation of corporate cultures. Those ex-ante and post-ante views gave rise to brand or colloquial term know today as Leyland Albion.
